Privacy
What gets collected, and what doesn't.
This page explains what Side Quest Operations does with personal information. It is written in plain language as a starting point, not as legal advice, and should be reviewed by a professional before being relied on for anything significant.
It also needs to stay accurate: if you connect an analytics provider, an email provider, or a form service, update the sections below to name them.
What Gets Collected
Information you send. If you use the contact form or email directly, you're sending a name, an email address, and whatever you write in the message. That is used to reply to you and to run the project, and nothing else.
Newsletter sign-ups. If the newsletter is connected to an email provider, your address is stored by that provider so updates can be sent. You can unsubscribe from any email.
Analytics. If an analytics provider is configured, it collects aggregate information about page visits. As shipped, this site includes no analytics and sets no tracking cookies of its own.
What Doesn't Happen Here
This site does not process payments and does not store payment details. Purchases go through Etsy, which handles that data under its own privacy policy.
Personal information is not sold, and it is not shared except with the service providers needed to reply to you, send an email you asked for, or host the site.
Third Parties
Links out to Etsy, Instagram, and other services take you to sites with their own privacy policies. Those policies govern what happens once you leave here.
Retention
Project correspondence is kept while it's useful for the work and for ordinary business records. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your Choices
You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Use the address on the contact page.
Changes
This policy may be updated. The version published on this page is the current one.
